Thankful Thursday

We have had a very trying couple of weeks. We got "ahead" of ourselves by assuming we were financially stable. HE brought some challenges our way that left us wondering what the end of the month would look like for us.

Would we be able to pay all of our bills? Would we be able to buy food? Could we take care of our house?

So I prayed. Quietly and faithfully. Bryan was so anxious and couldn't understand my ability to remain calm and trust that everything was going to be okay. I reminded him of how we handle problems differently. I challenged him to pray. He growled, but he watched me more carefully and released alot of his tension.

It is the end of the month. Payday! WHEW!

We paid all of our bills. We had more than enough food. We were able to make the needed repairs to our house. We even have leftover money. It's not much, but it's extra we didn't expect!!

Praise HIM. Praise his HOLY name. Praise my ABBA FATHER who is always there, always watching, always faithful.

Hi Abby,

Thank you very much for stopping by my blog and your encouraging comment. I really appreciate your prayers. I am praying for your sister and for your family too. I am not sure how to email you so here I am with this long comment! Hope you don't mind :)

I am thankful for your concerns for your sister. Living with BPD can be a great challenge both for the person and her families & friends. Thankfully it is a medical condition that can be treated with medical and other helps. In my experience, finding a good medical doctor (plus counsellor if necessary) and having a good understanding of how this condition can affect a person and her various relationships, work, life, etc is very important. And learning as well as equiping oneself on how best to manage it using the available resources is very crucial.

I do a lot of research on the internet, readings of books, journalling of my thoughts and I also use Mood Chart to track my moods and learn to manage it. I have some articles on my blog on how a person with BPD can learn to manage this condition. There are also some articles on how family members can help their loved ones with BPD as family support is very crucial and can make a lot of difference to a person with BPD.

I found blogging therapeutic too. I thank God for many friends I have met through Thankful Thursday, Word-Filled Wednesday and also the wonderful support from the community of BPD people through their blogs. Perhaps your sis can join us too! I will be glad to correspond with your sis too if she need someone to talk too. Take care and let me know if there is any way I can help. I am glad to "meet" you. Thanks again for your prayers and encouragements. May God bless you abundantly!

With appreciation and prayers,
Nancie

Hi Abby,

I thank God that He enables us to meet through Thankful Thursday. Thanks for visiting me and your encouragements.

I am thankful to God that I can meet you and many others through blogging. I am in the midst of listing out blogging friends that I like to share 2 awards with. I have included your blog as well. I like to share Share The Love Award and Friendship Award with you. Do come over and receive them when you have time. You can save the images and upload them to your side bars or posts. And feel free to pass them to your blogging buddies. Take care and God bless you and family always!

With appreciation and prayers,
